Our beautiful Great Hall is a large, airy, atmospheric room that really feels as though it is steeped in the quirky, characterful spirit of Whitby. It is tastefully appointed in deep grey and cream, and has the most splendid light pouring in in the daytime through a gorgeous stained glass window.
The capacity of the room is large, and it can be laid out to suit your individual purposes.
Whether you want to host a gig, a concert, a recital, or even a fabulous wedding reception, or ceremony conducted by a celebrant of your choice, we can accommodate you in style!
Our state of the art in-house PA can be supplemented by your own equipment if you wish, and we are fully licensed for all kinds of wonderful events.
We have in-house catering if you require it, or we can help you to find an alternative caterer that is to your taste.
If you are lucky enough to live in wonderful Whitby, we will even give you a little discount, to demonstrate our pledge to support our local communities. If you are from further afield, we will of course look after you with the warmest of welcomes.
